"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Psalm 147:3

Dear Mom,

This is just a short note for today. Katie and I had one of our late night talks that we enjoy at least once when she comes over to stay for a length of time. Our conversation covered a vast array of topics and, of course, you were weaved throughout. It wasn’t tearful really, just sharing memories and then also just talking about other issues or events (such as graduation in TWO weeks–AH!), sharing advice, etc. I’m so glad God brought her to Texas so she could meet Joel and join our crazy family! Having her as a big sister is encouraging, comforting, inspiring and something I always felt I missed out on without Annette here (though I know if she hadn’t gone to Heaven first, I wouldn’t be here–it’s crazy how God works things out, right?) but now I have. Anyway, I’ve got to sleep now since it’s 1:10 in  the morning and I have school tomorrow. Don’t worry, Mom, I won’t sleep through class–much. 🙂 Love you!

Your daughter,
Hannah
